Week Three..

This mornings training-
4km jog
2 rounds shadow boxing
1 round fast punching on the bag
4 rounds thai pads
5 rounds technique blocking & countering knees, punches, kicks, teep kicks
2 sets 50 knees on the heavy bag
3 sets shoulder press (max)
3 sets situp (max)

Pretty easy training session this morning and my body really appreciated it. I'm noticing a real difference when I kick now but I want to get my punches a bit faster.

This afternoons training-
4km jog
4 rounds thai pads
1 round heavy bag
3 rounds thai pads
4 rounds technique, knees & elbows
2 sets 50 knees on the heavy bag
3 sets shoulder press (max)
3 sets situps (max)

I don't know why training was so hard today, maybe because of the heat. Now my eye is not so black it's really starting to hurt, however I have some time before I have to fight with Paul again. The trainers are happy with my progress so I'm happy, although it's taking a while to get as fit as I want to be. Looking forward to a day off already.
