This mornings training -
6km jog
1 round shadow boxing
5 rounds grappling/clinch sparring
4 rounds muay thai sparring
2 sets pull ups (max)
1 set push ups (max)
1 set sit ups (max) (Thanks to the trainer who decided to belt me in the stomach with the focus mitt while I was doing this)

Gym was busy this morning with a group from England over for a few days so only sparring this morning. Met Riddles off muaythailand.com which was cool. Hope you enjoyed your training session and I'll see you again soon mate. Sparred with the thais which is always interesting, sometimes even fun.

This afternoons training -
2km jog

2 rounds fast punching
3 rounds thai pads
3 rounds heavy bag
3 rounds grappling/clinch sparring
3 sets shoulder press (max)
1 set situps (max)
1 set pull ups (max)

Was grappling with someone new today, who isn't used to how we train. He took it as an opportunity to go as hard as he could, and use the pointy part of his knee. Usually when sparring in the clinch we use the inside so we don't get hurt for the next day. ANYWAY it was ok, he didn't have too much of a weight advantage. Hopefully he's learned for next time.
